Their chirp is a soft low-breath whistling sound, pleasant to the ear. Their wings, partially made of Vis, never cast a shadow. Fluxies are harbingers of "the curious." They are living creatures that feed on moments of pure chance and are drawn to places where a significant, unpredictable event is about to occur. Their rare appearance is an unmistakable sign that destiny is about to take an unexpected turn.

It ('they') spontaneously coalesce into existence when an area is so rich with bloom that the energy develops sentience. While sharing a single consciousness, a glimmering communicates not through words, but through complex, melodic chimes that can soothe a troubled heart or instill a sense of profound peace in those who hear it. Glimmerwings are drawn to acts of great compassion and self-sacrifice, and their presence is considered a powerful blessing. According to legend, they are the purest physical manifestation of blooming Vis.

They look like a smaller version of a horse, in one of almost any color. They have a mane on their neck with a tail of matching color. With a regular horse-like coat of fur, they have a single line of fur matching their mane/tail that connects the two in an unbroken line down their backs.

+The mordreavers are the herders of the baoreth. They look like giant rotting bears and wander on all four legs, but can rise up on two legs at an imposing size. The reavers can drain essence from the living to create new mord. The awakened can see the dim glow of katravis that flows around them. Mordreavers are otherwise visible to everyone. Reavers have the ability to induce an immobilizing fear from a distance of a few meters. At this point, the mordreaver will attempt to steal essence to create mord and may choose to attack in some cases. They are not initially aggressive and will wander away from people if they don’t bother the reaver. The best advice is to AVOID mordreavers and just leave them alone.

+The resha are a magical creature similar to (or perhaps opposite of) elementals. They appear and feel solid, but do not have a permanent shape--floating through the air like a liquid. Resha absorb a specific element. For example, the celebrity fire resha, Moshimi, in Qjell appears very light gray in color. Moshimi is the toughest of a small group of resha used by the city to put out fires.
